Checking a client in

Check-in confirms the client actually turned up. Only then is a credit taken from their package — booking alone costs nothing.

  1. Find the client in today’s session list, or search by name.
  2. Check in.
  3. The kiosk shows what was used and the credit balance after the check-in.

If the client has no free credit, the check-in still goes through, the balance drops below zero and shows as debt.

That is intended. A client standing at the counter should get on the floor; the settlement can be squared later, in the panel or by selling a package. Stopping them in the doorway would cost more.

A client who walks in without a booking can be booked from the kiosk — you pick the class type and a free slot, without switching to the panel.

Cancelling a checked-in session returns the credit automatically. The cancellation reason goes into the history.

The kiosk deliberately does not show everything the panel does. There are no client notes on it and no staff sick-leave data — the screen stands in a public place, and what is visible on it carries privacy weight.
