Building a training plan

You build plans in the panel, under Training. This is desk work — you need to see the whole week at once.

  1. Training → New plan.
  2. Pick the client and name the plan.
  3. Add training days, and blocks inside them.

A block is a group of exercises performed together. A plain block holds one exercise; a block with several exercises behaves like a superset — the client moves through them in order and the rest period counts after the whole round.

You pick exercises from the database — over a thousand entries with descriptions and the muscle groups they work. For each one you set a prescription: sets, reps, weight and rest.

An exercise can be scored in reps or in time — in the latter case you give the set duration instead of reps, and the client gets a timer in the app.

Above the days you see a trained-muscle map: a heatmap of what the plan actually loads. It exists to catch a hole in the volume before the client feels it.

A plan is either a draft or active. The client sees only the active plan in the app, and only one at a time — activating a new one retires the previous.

The draft is where work in progress lives: you can have the next mesocycle ready and switch it on the day you start it.

In the client profile, next to the active plan, Preview opens the plan exactly as the client sees it. The Training history toggle shows the workouts actually completed over the last 30 days — set by set, with weight and reps.

This is where you check whether the plan is being followed, before you ask the client about it.
