Adding your first client
You add clients in the panel, at trainone.app/dashboard, under Clients.
The phone app is for coaching — account setup stays at the desk.
Adding a client
Section titled “Adding a client”- Clients → Add client.
- Fill in first name, last name, email, phone and gender.
- Tick Send onboarding form if you want the client to fill in the rest themselves.
- Save.
The client appears on the list straight away. If you sent the form, they get an email with a link and stay marked Not invited under Access until they complete it.
The onboarding form
Section titled “The onboarding form”It is a questionnaire the client fills in from their own phone — goal, training history, injuries, dietary preferences. The answers land in their profile, so you never retype anything from the conversation.
You can send it later too: client profile → Send form.
App access
Section titled “App access”Clients sign in with a one-time code sent to their email — there is no password to set.
| State | What it means |
|---|---|
| Not invited | the account exists, but the client has no app access yet |
| Active | the client can sign in |
| No access | access suspended; data and history stay untouched |
To let a client into the app, open their profile and click Activate. Suspending works the same way — Suspend access blocks sign-in but removes nothing from the history and does not take the client off the calendar.
Assigning a trainer
Section titled “Assigning a trainer”In the client profile you set a main trainer, and optionally a substitute and a dietitian. This assignment decides who sees the client on their lists — a trainer sees only their own clients, an administrator sees everyone.
Deleting a client
Section titled “Deleting a client”Delete in the client profile does not erase business data — it anonymises the personal data (name, email, phone, date of birth, photo) and closes the account. Sessions, plans and settlements stay, but the name is replaced with “Deleted user”.
That is how the GDPR right to erasure is implemented here: personal data goes, accounting records and training history remain.
Only an administrator or a manager can delete a client.
